Project Overview
DEL Commercial Joinery was engaged to upgrade several learning and administrative spaces within the University of Newcastle through the installation of high-performance acoustic wall panels and custom joinery elements.
The project required detailed coordination around existing wall substrates, electrical services, skirting, and glazing lines, ensuring all installations aligned with architectural drawings and acoustic performance requirements. Works included the supply and installation of contoured acoustic panels, reception counters, and laminate worktops positioned beneath internal windows.
This refurbishment aimed to improve acoustic comfort, enhance durability, and provide a clean, modern aesthetic appropriate for high-use educational settings.
